The Manchester Amateur Choral Competition is an annual event giving amateur choirs the chance to perform and compete against each other. The competition is not solely focused on the winning choir - simply the satisfaction of having sung to a high standard and had an opportunity to experience and enjoy the diversity of performance from other amateur choirs."

THE CHOIR FEATURES ON BBC SONGS OF PRAISE
"The choir comprised of students took to the stage at the televised recording of BBC Young Choir of the Year at the Pontio Arts Centre in Bangor. It was recorded on April 22 and will air on Sunday May 6 on BBC One in the usual Songs of Praise slot, when the finalists will be revealed."
